About
I’m Nathan Deisman and I specialize in practical geotechnical solutions. I hold a Doctorate in Geotechnical Engineering and Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, both from the University of Alberta. My PhD thesis was on fractured rock reservoir geomechanics and I have worked in the oil and gas reservoir geomechanics and CO2 storage industry for more than 20 years.
My breadth of experience spans:
- Fieldwork involving the collection of challenging samples like oil sands, coal, and shales.
- Laboratory endeavors where he’s crafted, implemented, and utilized avant-garde experimental systems.
- Computational work focusing on in-depth analytical and reservoir geomechanical simulations.
